What The Bookcast Is Not

Do you know how some websites or podcasts choose the indie authors they’re going to interview?

Show ‘em the money.

moneyCash talks, and in some venues the main — or only — criterion is, did the check clear?

With all due respect to the authors who fork over the fee,  that’s not very helpful to the reader just looking for a good story, well-told.

The Bookcast does not solicit nor accept payment from any author for an interview.  No author can purchase a “better” interview or a more favorable placement.

Our criteria are more nuanced, but all of our requirements for an author to be invited for an interview serve one overarching criterion — is this a good story, well told?

What The Bookcast is not, then, is one of those podcasts that features anyone who can afford the fee.

What we are is a website and podcast dedicated to introducing you to some of the world’s most talented indie authors and their books.

How are we doing?
