Matty DiCamillo has what many would consider a dead-end job – she works the graveyard shift at a convenience store.

But as Jonathan D. Allen‘s book “The Corridors of the Dead” opens, Matty is about to have what we would call one of those life-changing experiences.

She is drawn to a new destiny, into a world that pre-dates the human presence on earth, by a most unlikely savior – who may, or may not, be an angel.

Both driven by, and fighting, the words of prophecy that lay out her destiny, Matty – along with her lover Kristy and her best friend Daniel – all follow this mysterious savior on a journey from Northern California to Las Vegas.

Ah, but then Matty begins to realize her mysterious savior may not be who she seems to be….

Nice interview, and I’m so glad I finally found the time to listen to it during this crazy week. May I just say that I am glad you don’t work overnight hours anymore, Jonathan? :)

Fun interview! I love that you sometimes want to strangle Matty because she doesn’t want to just do what you need her to do. Characters: can’t live with them, can’t write novels without them…

You both have lovely radio voices!
