Born in Mayfield Heights (Cleveland), Ohio, Daniel Donatelli started taking writing seriously at 12; graduated from Mayfield High School in ’00 (editor of the school literary magazine “Voices” and 2nd team all state in baseball, with pretty much every award below that); attended Ohio University, dropped baseball, shifted his focus to taking his writing to the next level, and graduated in 2004 with a degree in Magazine Journalism and specializations in Philosophy and History; moved to California and found a niche working as a proofreader/Media QA Specialist while loathing almost everyone he met or saw; moved back to Cleveland to live cheaply and concentrate all his efforts on writing/the publishing company full-time while living off of his accumulated savings and among actual human beings; have published approx. 250,000 words of literature that he absolutely believes in despite his sometimes overwhelming diffidence, and have just finished the fourth draft of his next novel.
